Indian ace archer Deepika Kumari has raised India's hope for medal in Rio Olympics as she entered pre-quarter finals of women's individual archery event. It was a good day for Indian archers as along with Deepika, Bombayla Devi also made it to the pre-quarter finals. Deepika defeated World No. 8 Kristine Esebua of Georgia 6-4, before outscoring Italian Guendalina Sartori 6-2.
